Design Icon – Architect

Jonathan Labahn journey to the desert led him through diverse regions. He feels most comfortable here, connected to the land and it’s opportunities. He studied engineering and architecture at ASU and his first project was the iconic, Bank One Ballpark. A challenging start that created a base of knowledge that eventually led to the formation of his own firm, Lab Design Collaborative. As an Architectural Designer he has had the opportunity to peruse all of his passions. In architecture, interior design, lighting, and products, he has perused projects and opportunities to express his vision of design and style. He has built a portfolio of restaurants, retail stores, salons and offices that has established him as an Iconic presence in the desert. He escapes the desert to San Francisco to live, work and play in times of transition and change. Now having accomplished a duel practice that provides an urban and desert lifestyle that fits his personality and needs. Both practices allow him to focus on design and collaboration with design professionals and craftsmen. His true passion!
