Caroline Swaback grew up following her father around construction sites. Vern Swaback, one of Arizona’s most prolific and successful architects, trained with Frank Lloyd Wright at Taliesin and carried Wright’s principles forward when he launched his own architecture practice. Watching buildings go up gave Caroline Swaback exposure to architecture, but she was interested in what was inside—interior design. With an NAU degree in hand, she joined Studio V—named after her father—in 2014, and began her own design journey. With a focus on teamwork and collaboration, Scottsdale-based Studio V specializes in hospitality and luxury residential design. Focused on finding the design story and creating context with the site, Swaback uses her architectural experience and interest in human psychology to forge livable interiors. “What they love, we love” drives the Studio V team to create individual and original interiors that always reflect the best of the clients.
